ACityDiscount attended the annual National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago, IL. The NRA Show showcases the best in the food service industry including: restaurants, food service equipment manufacturers, and hospitality and food providers. The event lasted four days and included networking and entertainment between the attendees and the exhibitors with in the food service industry.
Produced by the National Restaurant Association, the NRA Show draws 58,000+ industry professionals from all 50 states and 100+ countries to Chicago each May. Attendees search for cutting edge innovations with in the food service industry and exhibitors showcase the newest improvements in their field and latest information about developments in their industry.
The NRA Show is the international food service platform. It provides opportunities for buyers and sellers to come together, conduct business and learn from one another. Together, they propel the future of businesses, relationships and ideas.
ACityDiscount team members that attended the show this year included Hap Schneider, General Manager, Glenn Jones, Chief Financial Officer, Mike Ellin, Showroom Manager, Mike Hall, Order Fulfillment and Catalina Franco, Marketing Coordinator.
While there, they visited with current vendors including Turbo Air, Globe Food Equipment Co., Imperial Range, Vollrath, Crestware, Frymaster of Manitowoc Food Service and Southbend of The Middleby Corporation. The team also met with prospective vendors and will soon be adding a number of manufacturers and items to the ACityDiscount catalog.
