UTLRA-FLEX connectors are constructed with heavy duty type 304 stainless steel corrugated tubing, covered with a super tight type 304 stainless steel braid for strength A female malleable iron union is supplied on one end with a a four step arc welding process which guarantees unparalleled strength and quality. Each ULTRA-FLEX connector is thoroughly tested under pressure, assuring the connector you recieve is 100% leak proof and ready to be installed.
ULTRA-FLEX connectors can also be provided with an optional plastic ULTRON coating, protecting the braid from dirt and grease build up. ULTRON can be wiped clean with a cloth in seconds. Unlike other connectors that become hard to bend when coated, ULTRA-FLEX remains flexible.
All Brass quick connects are fully AGA (American Gas Association) certified, and make a great edition to the flexible connector. A fusible link shut off is built in for safety. Under situations of extreme heat or fire the link melts-automatically stopping the flow of gas to the appliance. Quick connects also allow connections in seconds without the use of tools.
