True GDM-49 Specifications
The True GDM-49 two-section glass door merchandiser has an oversized, factory-balanced refrigeration system that maintains holding temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant keeps these temperatures cool. The refrigerator has self-closing doors with a positive seal, and the entire cabinet structure is foamed in place using polyurethane insulation. A bottom-mounted condensing unit supports quick maintain and creates a lower shelf that slightly raises products so that they are highly visible.
The black powder-coated exterior is durable and will not peel or chip, and the white aluminum interior liner brightens the cabinet. Its stainless steel floor is durable and has a built-in drain that aids in cleanup. The unit's welded, heavy-duty steel frame rail is covered in a black powder coating to help it resist corrosion. The frame is fitted with leg levelers that provide stability on uneven flooring.
Both of the double-pane, thermal-insulated glass doors have 12-inch-long handles that help customers and staff when opening the doors. Since these doors are self-closing, they keep cold air in the cabinet. Magnetic gaskets prevent cold air from escaping out of the door cracks and can be removed for replacement or cleaning without tools. Lengthening the unit's lifespan, the condensing coil is kept clean with a reverse condensing fan motor. Upon compressor start up, the fan blows in reverse for 20 seconds to remove dirt and dust from the condensing coil. When this feature is implemented alongside routine maintenance, the unit operates with optimal efficiency.
