ACityDiscount Celebrates 45 Years in Business

Proudly Serving The Foodservice Industry

From a dusty location in Atlanta’s West End to a massive showroom in Norcross, just north of the city. From William “Bill” Stack’s dream in 1973 – a hobby, actually – to careers for hundreds of former and current employees, a legacy in restaurant equipment that includes three generations of the Stack family.

From a fledgling business that experimented with selling used coffee makers on eBay in the late 1990s to a small business dynamo, industry leader, national award winner and e-commerce influencer.

It feels good to turn 45.

In 2018, ACityDiscount celebrates another year of great pricing, trendsetting technology and of course, amazing customer service. What a journey it’s been to reach 45 years.

We made it here thanks to the support of our many customers. Fueling their entrepreneurial dreams gifted us the resolve to succeed in our endeavors.

Check out this photo gallery, our tribute to the many laughs and cries; purchase orders, shipping palettes and holiday parties; business partners and co-workers that shaped our history.

In the 1990s, eBay taught us to look beyond the potential customers we can see in the Atlanta area. After all, there are hundreds of thousands of foodservice operations in America seeking restaurant equipment – commercial refrigeration, deep fryers, griddles, charbroilers, concession stand and food truck equipment.
