Our Small Family Business Story
ACityDiscount is a longstanding, family owned company of 40 plus years. In 1973, William “Bill” Stack, original owner decided to move on from the department store business and into a bigger endeavor – the restaurant industry. His son John Stack, now CEO, later joined the company and ACityDiscount has been selling new and used restaurant equipment at discounted prices since.
Now quite a few members of the Stack family work with ACityDiscount; John’s wife, Rebecca in loss prevention, his big brother, Bill as General Counsel, nieced, Patty in merchandising and Jeanne who does photography. John’s son, Marty is co-owner and the company’s Executive Vice President.
