Meet the Owner

Scott Bianculli, the owner of Baked is the owner of three restaurants – all inspired by his personal favorite comfort foods growing up. Baked serves two convenient locations of the Atlanta metro area. Baked’s first location, in East Cobb, is described as the family focused location. Baked has recently opened a location in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta that caters more to the up and coming community in the area. Chuck Beard (not featured in testimonial), co-owner of both Baked locations and Green Owl Energy, works closely with Scott to bring this comfort food haven to life.

Old Fourth Ward is an urban hipster area in the city where you can expect to see public transit, bustling traffic, and a young and eclectic demographic.  Upon making the “Top 50 Restaurant’s in Atlanta” list, the restaurant was sourced and recruited to the area.

Menu

Scott and Executive Chef, Delorean Ostrom, met 5 years ago when Delorean was worked as the kitchen manager at Scott’s restaurant.  Delorean admittedly prepares dishes based on what he enjoys, and what he would serve to his own family. While 75 percent of Baked's recipes are indeed baked, menu items include dishes that are also fried, sautéed, and grilled.

Menu item favorites include baked chicken, brisket, and the highly praised, shrimp and grits. With a Google review rating of 4.6, it looks like the community is really embracing this comfort food eatery.  Even the folks on Yelp have given Baked raving reviews – both locations are boasting a high 4.5 star rating!

Baked & ACityDiscount

Scott has purchased his most essential pieces of equipment from ACityDiscount, including Dean deep fryers, a Turbo Air single door refrigerator, Southbend 6 burner range, smallwares, dishes, and his back bar cooler. 

Scott accredits his long standing relationship with ACityDiscount to two simple principals – “like”, and “trust”.  These principals also help foster not only a successful business relationship, but also a personal relationship between Baked and ACityDiscount.  Delorean let us in on a secret; he plans to shop with ACityDiscount to purchase pots, pans, and smallwares for his new home's kitchen soon!
