Football Concession Stand

Laura Cameron, lead volunteer at the River Ridge High School football concession stand, took a moment to tell us about the concession stand and why she shops at ACityDiscount. To better equip her concession stand, Laura purchased various pieces of equipment and supplies from ACityDiscount. River Ridge High School is located in Woodstock, Georgia. In the short time since their opening, the high school’s football program has grown to be one of the best in the county. In 2012, the River Ridge Knights made it to the first rounds of the Georgia High School State Playoffs. The River Ridge Knights have a great support system including school faculty and staff, students, parents and coaches.
River Ridge High School’s concession stand opened its doors in 2009 with only an ice machine and an otherwise empty concession stand. Since opening, they can proudly say that they generate the most revenue of all the high school concession stands in Cherokee County.
With a very small budget, parent volunteers rounded up donations, both monetary and necessary equipment in order to get the concession stand up and running.
