In the heart of Dahlonega, GA, you will find one of the true gems of North Georgia: Smokin' Gold BBQ. Owner Dan Dieterle and his wife, Laurie, cut their teeth on the competitive barbecue circuit. After a chance encounter with a former customer (in the alarm / security system field), the Dieterle's were given an opportunity to bring their award winning competition barbecue to a wider audience. Six years later, Smokin' Gold BBQ has a reputation of being one of the best barbecue establishments in the American Southeast.
Chance happened to the Dieterle's again a number of years ago, when they first passed by ACityDiscount. The couple first came into ACityDiscount in search of restaurant furnishings, and purchased a number of items for their first location. After some time, Smokin' Gold's reputation grew, and so did the Dieterle's business. They decided to move to a larger location, and again found themselves visiting ACityDiscount.
Most of the equipment and furnishings from Smokin' Gold BBQ's new location, at 59 E. Main St. in Dahlonega, came from ACityDiscount. Items such as coolers, sinks, furniture, fixtures, and tableware were purchased for the Dieterle's new location, and ACityDiscount is proud to assist them in bringing championship barbecue to the people of Dahlonega.
