Now this is what I call a tasty food assignment: On Feb. 21, I attended the 10th Annual Taste of Georgia on behalf of ACityDiscount. And boy, did I try everything!
BBQ brisket and mac & cheese, seafood pasta and bread pudding, sweet potato soufflé and key lime pie, Brazilian steak and potato salad, fried chicken; apple pie waffles. Oh, the list goes on. And so grew my expanding waistline.
Not to worry. I budgeted for an influx of tasty food. Members of the Georgia Restaurant Association wowed the crowd with an array of spices and sweets, proteins and desserts! (Note to self: double-up next week on kickboxing and boot camp classes at the gym)
Participating restaurants utilize this annual event to showcase cuisine to elected officials. Check out some of the amazing dishes we tried, including my pick for the Best Taste, as well as the "Best Taste" according to attendees at the event, held at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot.
